Arrival of 11 New Fellows

8 February 2019
The second semester of the academic year 2018/19 has started with the arrival of 11 new fellows. These carefully selected scholars and artists will work on their own projects unburdened by the disruptions of day-to-day commitments.

Jan Willem Duyvendak: “We are happy to welcome eleven new fellows, who will each bring their discipline, background and expertise to the community. At NIAS, we strive for an open academic climate that provides a safe-haven for independent research in the hope that many exciting interdisciplinary exchanges will occur. We look forward to see these exchanges develop over the coming months.”
