Research Question
What is the impact of international sanctions against Iran on organisations in the Netherlands? What dilemmas do companies, universities and citizens face when geopolitics gets personal?
Project Description
Since president Donald Trump, in 2018, announced that the US would withdraw from the Iran Nuclear Deal, and subsequently reimposed sanctions on Iran, international tensions have been rising. In this project I want to investigate how Dutch organisations deal with this rising tension and how these practices impact the lives of Iranians living in the Netherland.
