Bert-Jaap Koops Discusses Privacy Law in Dutch Senate

Bert-Jaap Koops, Professor of Law and Technology and currently a NIAS Fellow, is invited to share his knowledge on privacy law before the Dutch Senate. The meeting will take place on 20 June in The Hague, and will be livestreamed. 

Bert-Jaap Koops will present his views on how (European) laws on privacy and data protection relate to pending law amendments on automated number-plate recognition, and on cybercrime.

About Bert-Jaap Koops

Bert-Jaap Koops is Professor of Regulation and Technology at Tilburg University. He researches the interaction between law and technology, with special focus on cybercrime, cyber-investigation, privacy and data protection. Koops is NIAS’s Distinguished Lorentz Fellow in 2016/17.
