Meet the additional fellows joining us in the second semester of 2026–2027

In addition to the fellows who spend a semester or a full academic year at NIAS, many other scholars visit us each year – some for a day, others for a week or several weeks. We would love to introduce them all, but there is simply not enough space in our Fellows Booklet. Indeed, even the full cohort of NIAS Fellows cannot always be included in the printed edition.

As in previous years, several fellows due to join NIAS in the second semester had not yet been announced when the annual Fellows Booklet went to press. The booklet is therefore never entirely complete. A QR code in the booklet directs readers to this page, where we will introduce these fellows as soon as their appointments have been made public.

They include the Journalist-in-Residence awarded the Fonds BJP Fellowship for the second semester, as well as three Safe Haven Fellows.
