Former Fellow Karla Pollmann Appointed Dean of Arts at the University of Bristol

Professor Dr. Karla Pollmann (Individual NIAS Fellow 2003/4 and Theme-group leader 2008/09) has been offered the position of Professor of Classics and Dean of Arts at the University of Bristol, and took up her role in September 2018. Last year she was elected a member of the Academia Europaea and became a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Green College, UBC, Vancouver, Canada.
