The Willem F. Duisenberg Fellowship Foundation Board consists of:

Focus

The WFDF facilitates researchers from the Netherlands or abroad who have an outstanding record in the field of applied monetary economics, macroeconomics or public finance. They are offered the opportunity to pursue their own research project, whilst being a member of the NIAS interdisciplinary community.

From 2007 until 2022 the Willem F. Duisenberg Fellowship was a fellowship for researchers with an outstanding record by invitation only.

As of 2023, as part of NIAS’ and the Duisenberg Foundation’s efforts to strive for a more inclusive academia, economists with more than 3 years post Ph.D. academic experience can apply through the Open call for NIAS Individual Fellowships.

Previous Duisenberg Fellows include Giancarlo Corsetti, Michael Burda and Tito Boeri.
