About Mehrad Alipour
Mehrdad Alipour holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Qom, Iran. As a Scholar-at-Risk Fellow, a fellowship co-sponsored with the UAF Foundation, he works on a philosophical- hermeneutical analysis of Islamic sources and Muslim Queer theology: Negotiating Same-Sex Desire and Act in Islam.
