There are around 20 enthusiastic people working at NIAS. They facilitate the recruitment and selection of fellows, their transfer and residency, their research and their shared research community. They also focus on communicating our calls for applications, our academic and public activities, and the importance of our mission. NIAS is committed to academic freedom and is an international leader in our field.
What will you do?
- Researching audiences and describing our scholars’ journeys
- Strengthening the engagement of existing and new partners and funders
- The inclusive communication of a dozen ‘calls for applications’. More than 300 scientists from around the world apply each year, and we don’t want to exclude anyone
Who are you?
- You are studying communication at HBO or WO level, possibly as part of another subject
- You have experience or a strong interest in intercultural and inclusive communication
- Ideally, you have experience with technical systems of modern communication.
- You are a dedicated colleague: you are interested, accessible, reliable and motivated.
- Your English is excellent or (near) native (C1-C2); your Dutch is also good.
