My stay at NIAS was was mainly spent in studying the relation between information processing approaches and dynamical approaches to human movement. At a conference organised by the ‘Human movements’ I presented a paper defending the view that both approaches can be reconciled in the sense that information processing demands may motivate non-linear, self-organizing phase transitions in movements.
