Valery Vasilèv, born in Taiga, Russia, in 1946. Ph.D. from the Siberian Branch of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk. Professor of Economics and Mathematics at the Novosibirsk State University.

The main goal of my NIAS project within the nucleus “Understanding Social Dilemmas” was to study co operative mechanism, providing equilibria outcomes in some types of nonclassic markets, including mixed economies and Lindahlian markets with public and semi-public goods.
