Jerzy Topolski, born in Poznań, Poland, in 1928. Ph.D. from Nicolas Copernicus University, Toruń. Professor of History at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. († 1998)

During my stay at NIAS I have written the book Practical Philosophy of Historical Explanation. I have also written a textbook of history for the 4th class of Gymnasium about Poland and the world 1939-1991.
