Dolph Kohnstamm, born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1937. Ph.D. from Utrecht University. Professor of Psychology at Leiden University.

Fellow (1 September 1990 – 30 June 1991)

Together with my colleague and NIAS Fellow Ch. Halverson my main task at the NIAS was to prepare and organize a four-day international conference. This conference was on the development of the structure of personality from infancy to adulthood. I also served as editor of a Dutch dictionary of Cultural Literacy (Cultureel Woordenboek). The communication with over 50 co-workers to that volume took much time. The project is proceeding well.
