Henk Driessen, born in Venlo, the Netherlands, in 1950. Ph.D. from Radboud University Nijmegen. Associate Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Radboud University Nijmegen.

Much of my time I spent at NIAS was devoted to writing up material gathered during research in Spain and Morocco. I completed the manuscript of a book titled ‘On the Spanish-Moroccan Frontier: A Study in Power, Ritual and Ethnicity’.
