Heinrich Dilly, born in Habelschwerdt, Germany, in 1941. Ph.D. from the Universität Frankfurt am Main. Professor of Art History at the Universität Stuttgart.

Fellow (1 September 1985 – 31 July 1986)

Besides continuing my research on the history and methodology of art history, I also looked into international developments, mainly the diffusion from iconography and iconology by A.M. Warburg, E. Panofsky and their students.
