Technological Applications for the Social Regulation of Neural Threat Processing
Research Question
How can we design social contact through a variety of technological mechanisms that will increase the efficacy of the support they provide, while also avoiding the potential pitfalls and misapplications inherent in them? I am interested in the mechanisms linking our social worlds to health and well-being. My work assumes these mechanisms manifest at multiple levels of analysis and are yoked to the activation and regulation of emotion.
