Accessibility Statement

NIAS aims to make its online information and services accessible, in accordance with the decree on digital accessibility of the government. Initial measures have been taken to make NIAS’ website compliant with this decree. In addition, an accessibility survey has been done in March 2025.

Based on the findings of the accessibility survey, we are improve the accessibility of the website. We are now working on:

  • using less .pdf files, using web pages in stead and making the existing documents accessible.
  • making the focus-indicator “visible” to help navigate the website with a keyboard
  • adding correct descriptions to images and maps.
