Thomas Roeper, born in Benn, Vermont, USA, in 1943. Ph.D. from Harvard University, Cambridge. Professor of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

During my research year at NIAS, I pursued theoretical questions in wh-movement, verb-movement and their connections to Dutch. I also worked on a monograph on acquisition theory.
