The most important accomplishment of my ten months at NIAS is the completion of a two volume work, entitled Theophrastus of Eresus: Sources for His Life, Writings, Thought and Influence. This is a collection of sources – Greek, Latin and Arabic texts together with English translation – for studying the Greek philosopher Theophrastus, Aristotle’s pupil and successor as head of the Peripatetic School.
