Leon Wegge, born in Breendonk, Belgium, in 1933. Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. Professor of Economics at the University of California, Davis.

During my stay at NIAS I added two chapters to a planned collection Essays in Identifiability Problems. I worked on a chapter on Identifiability Criteria in the Arma(p,q)-Model and on Concept and Scope of the Identifiability Problem, which deals with the statement of the philosophy behind probability models.
