Ulrich Teichler, born in Stettin, Germany, in 1942. Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute for Educational Research, Berlin. Professor of Education at the Universität Kassel.

My main two studies during the year were: 1) a longitudinal study on the impact of study conditions and courses on qualifications, careers and job assignments of graduates and 2) a comparative study on study abroad programmes and their impacts on students.
