Gregor Benton, born in 1944. Ph.D. from Cardiff University. Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam.

Fellow (1 September 1985 – 31 July 1986) 

I devoted my time at NIAS to work on my book on the Mountain Communists from Southeastern China. I also wrote some articles about Chinese Communist History.
