Roel Fernhout, born in Zwolle, the Netherlands, in 1947. LL.M. from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Assistant Professor of Administrative Law at the VU University, Amsterdam.

First, I concentrated on writing a book on economic law with the title Economic law in the Welfare State, Instrument and guarantee. My second research subject concerned a necessary revision and update of a book entitled Administrative law in the Welfare State.
