Op dinsdag 21 februari presenteert Micha Hamel zijn nieuwe dichtbundel 'Is daar iemand' in SPUI25. Een groot deel van deze gedichten schreef hij tijdens zijn fellowship als artist-in-residence bij NIAS.

NIAS Fellow Luis Lobo-Guerrero presents and discusses his most recent co-edited publication 'Mapping, Connectivity and the Making of European Empires' at the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam.

Global War, Global Catastrophe

Maartje Abbenhuis, Fellow in 2017/18, will launch her latest book, written at NIAS, on 27 October. In "Global War, Global Catastrophe: Neutrals, Belligerents and the Transformations of the First World War" she and co-author Ismee Tames (NIOD) present the Great War as a globally transformative event.

Thuis. Over verbondenheid en verlangen

Op 8 december presenteert NIAS "Thuis. Een bloemlezing over verbondenheid". Dit is NIAS' eerste literaire, Nederlandstalige boek, waarmee we de literaire verbeeldingskracht vieren. Het boek wordt uitgegeven in het kader van NIAS' 50-jarige verjaardag.
