Cristóbal Pagán Cánovas on Gestures and Other Forms of Multimodal Communication

Current NIAS fellow Cristóbal Pagán Cánovas is holding a number of research meetings in Amsterdam to connect his own team working on multimodal communication with scholars from VU University.

On Wednesday 18 October, NIAS will host a research meeting organised by Cristóbal Pagán Cánovas on the study of gestures. The meeting is aimed at exchanging best practices and methodologies between Pagán Cánovas’ own research team and researchers from VU University, in particular, Alan Cienki, Professor of Language Use and Cognition. Both groups are part of the Red Hen Lab, an international collaboration for the study of multimodal communication.
