Zsolnai, L.

László Zsolnai, born in Szentes, Hungary, in 1958. Ph.D. from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences. Associate Professor and Director of the Business Ethics Center at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences.

Magyar Fellow (1 September 1996 – 31 January 1997)

During my stay at NIAS I have completed my book Responsibility and Choice: Decision Making in Multiple Value-Perspective.

In addition I produced two papers; one is about the special pattern of moral behaviour of economics students, the other is about the relevance of rational choice in a wider context of diverse choices people can make in different situations.

I gave two lectures. One was at the Philosophy Group meeting of NIAS while the other was at the Faculty of Law of the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

NIAS proved to be a relaxing and inspiring place for me to do research. I have established good contacts with other NIAS Fellows representing different disciplines and approaches. We agreed to write joint papers in the future.
