During my year at NIAS, besides a number of other occupations, I further developed and refined my theory about the literary structure of a number of books of the Hebrew Bible.
In two books and in a number of articles I tried to demonstrate that in many cases the overall structure of a book (or a series of books) is defined by its relationship with other books, rather than by regularity of form or substance: this is a revolutionary thesis, which will keep scholars’ minds occupied for a long time
