While at the NIAS, I began a research-project about the history of economic ideas late 19th and the first two decades of the 20th century I tried to find traces in the Netherlands of the German “Historische Schule” in economics. I researched this subject on the level of hand- and textbooks on economics and of articles in economic – and general periodicals.
