Jacques Thomassen, born in 1945. Ph.D. from Tilburg University. Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Twente.

The major activity was a study of the quality of local government. I also edited the third edition of a text book on Dutch politics during the year. A long term project which I worked on was ‘The National Election Study’. A second inter university project which I worked on is a study among the members of both houses of parliament.
