Adam Szirmai, born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1946. M.A. from the University of Amsterdam. Assistant Professor of Economic Sociology at Groningen University.

My work focused on the research project, ‘Social Reaction to Changes in the income distribution’. I also did an intensive study of recent literature on attitudes and reactions to income inequality, within sociology, social psychology, economics and history.
