Niels Prak, born in 1926. M.A. from Delft University of Technology. Professor of Basic Design at Delft University of Technology. († 2002)

The first project studied Dutch houses 1890-1980, [Het Nederlandse woonhuis 1800-1980], and looked at the use and organisation of the house. The second project looked at the demolition of post-war homes (Dreigende) sloop van na-oorlogse woningen. For this a theory was developed together with Priemus which described the premature decline of houses.
