FERNANDO PESSOA AND ESOTERICISM
The main research goal that Jerónimo Pizarro en I had was to trace and identify all esoteric texts (including fragments) in Pessoa’s body of work and to prepare transcriptions of all discovered texts. From February to June 2012 we identified all those texts and we made initial transcriptions of most of them. A critical edition is underway. At the end of May 2012 we organized a stimulating workshop at NIAS, with eminent scholars and young researchers who have recently worked on subjects directly or indirectly related with Pessoa and Western esotericism. We plan to publish the workshop proceedings, possibly as a special issue of a scholarly journal.
