CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY DISPUTES IN PRACTICE

I came to NIAS to design a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Mediation Facility that will address conflicts between companies and individuals/communities. Second, I also came to develop the Terms of Reference for the same facility with focus on capabilities and specific tasks with possible timelines and cost. And finally, to develop an Effectiveness Matrix for the facility. I also came to complete the writing and editing of my PhD dissertation. I completed the design of the facility and have submitted it to the World Legal Forum. I have also completed the work on developing the TOR and Effectiveness Matrix for the facility. This is being reviewed and edited by Prof. Maurits Barendrecht of TISCO. Finally I have also completed the writing of my PhD dissertation. Before coming to NIAS I had completed the collection of data for my work. NIAS provided the enabling environment for writing, reflecting and reading.
