Leszek Nowak, born in Wieckowice, Poland, in 1943. Ph.D. from the University of Warsaw. Former Professor of Philosophy at the University of Poznán.

During my stay at NIAS I have worked on two projects. One belongs to social and political philosophy, the other continues my interest in metaphysics of counterfactuality. Most of my time dedicated to the first project was spent on completing my book The Dynamics of Power.
