THE RETURN OF PRESIDENTIALISM IN FRANCOPHONE BLACK AFRICA
When I arrived at NIAS in September 2011, I had besides my research project on “The Return of Presidentialism in Francophone Black Africa”, several other papers in the course of writing or of finalization. This included a book manuscript which will be published in 2012 and be entitled Démocratisation et intégration sociopolitique des minorités ethniques au Cameroun [Democratisation and Sociopolitical Integration of Ethnic Minorities in Cameroon], Dakar, Séries Livre du Codesria. As regards my research project, my stay at NIAS allowed me to choose Cameroon and Congo-Brazzaville as case studies. I have analysed all the bibliographic material on the topic, and a first article was drafted on Cameroon and will be published as book chapter in a collective work. I am drafting another paper on Congo-Brazzaville. A third, comparative one, will concern both countries.
