Olaf Mörke, born in Weilburg, Germany, in 1952. Ph.D from the Philipps-Universität Marburg. Assistant Professor at Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen.

As a member of the nucleus “The history of the Netherlands in a comparative perspective” I dealt with the comparison of the political culture of Germany and the Dutch Republic. As part of my work with this group, I was able to complete a manuscript of a book on the history of the House of Orange in the 17th century.
