The completion of the last volume in a three-volume set dealing with the intellectual foundations of individual and collective action. The third volume will deal with the normative dimensions of action, and include both a statement of theoretical requirements and how they can be fulfilled, and an assessment of current practice as evidenced in the public discussion of public issues, in the US and in selected countries in western Europe.
