In carrying out my research project on “Converts to Catholicism in The Netherlands 1880-1960” during my stay at NIAS, I made considerable progress. I was able to collect new data about the converts who belong to my ‘nucleus group’, those for whom I can demonstrate a relationship between their conversion and their opinions and/or political, social, cultural and scientific activities.
