Firstly, I completed a study of ritual in Tana Wai Brama, a ceremonial domain of eastern Flores in Indonesia, which I initiated in 1980. That field research has resulted in a series of films which I am producing in collaboration with the American ethnographic filmmaker, Professor Timothy Asch. I also completed a small book on kinship and gender in Tana Wai Brama and saw three book chapters into press.
