Pieter Leupen, born in 1939. Ph.D. from the University of Amsterdam. Assistant Professor of Medieval History at Radboud University Nijmegen.

My principal project was to continue work on an analysis of thirty medieval political treaties from around 1250 to 1450. Special attention was given to the 14th century publicist and royal lawyer Pierre Dubois and two of his treatises (De Recuperatione Terre Sancte and Summaria brevis et compendiosa doctrina felicis expeditionis et abreviationis guerrarum ac litium regni Francorum).
