I engaged myself in three major activities: 1) participation in the NIAS-nucleus on ‘Reading, word recognition and dyslexia’; 2) preparation of papers to present at conferences, workshops and symposia; and 3) analysis of literature relevant to books on the treatment of dyslexia, which resulted in a book entitled Instructie bij ernstige leesproblemen (‘Instruction in cases of serious reading difficulties’).
