David Lebeaux, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1952. Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Fellow (1 September 1990 – 30 June 1991)

First of all, I continued work in language acquisition, as planned. But furthermore, I a good deal of my time was spent reading more widely and thinking of semantic issues, which triggered my interest on the relationship of syntax and semantics.
