Saskia Kersenboom, born in Utrecht, the Netherlands, in 1953. Ph.D. from Utrecht University. Associate Professor of Linguistic Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam.

During my stay at NIAS, I continued my research committed to the systematic study of orality as an ergonomic strategy of communication that makes use of specific cognitive tools (language, texts, performance), skills and techniques of their application.
