Peter Jordens, born in 1944. Ph.D. from Radboud University Nijmegen. Professor of Applied Linguistics at the VU University, Amsterdam.

Fellow (1 September 1990 – 30 June 1991)

During my stay at NIAS, I focused on two areas: 1) the acquisition of verb placement in Dutch, in which I was particularly interested in the acquisition of verb fronting and/or the so-called verb-second phenomenon; and 2) the acquisition of negation in Dutch.
