Philip de Jong, born in Enschede, the Netherlands, in 1949. Ph.D. from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Assistant Professor of Economics at Leiden University.

As a member of the Labor Market Research Group I have used my semester at NIAS mainly to work on my field of special interest, disability research. I completed a number of papers that discuss different aspects of Dutch disability policy.
