Gustav Jahoda, born in Vienna, Austria, in 1920. Ph.D. from the University of London. Professor of Psychology at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

Fellow (1 September 1980 – 31 July 1981)

My work was divided into three distinct projects:

the analysis and writing-up of fieldwork material previously collected;

writing a book on the relationships between psychology and anthropology; and

field study carried out in association with the Institute of psychology of Leiden University.

It is a comparative study of development of social cognition in Scotland and the Netherlands.
