My projects this year have all focused on the organization of argumentative discourse through pragmatic principles and structures of conversation. This project involved analysis of ordinary argumentative discourse against a critical standard developed as a set of discussion rules. this research has resulted in a book-lenth manuscript, entitled, Reconstructing Conversational Argument.
