Kees Groenendijk, born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in 1943. Ph.D. from Radboud University Nijmegen. Professor of Sociology of Law at Radboud University Nijmegen.

The most important achievement of my stay at NIAS is the analysis and operation of material which was collected during the years before in the frame of a research project called Gevolgen van collectief ontslag voor buitenlandse en Nederlandse werknemers (‘Consequences of Mass Dismissal for Dutch and Foreign Employers’). I also became engrossed in foreign empirical literature on the effects of legislation concerning discrimination against race and gender.
