During the early months I worked primarily on assembling, synthesizing and rewriting a variety of papers on social constructionism. A volume was completed, Construction, critique and community (tentative title). Major effort was then devoted to an original piece of work treating the discourse of the self from the romantic to the postmodern periods. I also completed an edited volume (with G.
