During my stay at NIAS, I worked on several different but related fields:
Together with professor Om Prakash I acted as coordinator of the research nucleus “In Memoriam J.C. van Leur. The Eighteenth Century as a Category in Asian History”.
I worked on the editing of the sales of the Asian products in the Netherlands by the Dutch East India Company.
I worked on the transfer of money from Batavia and Bengal to the Netherlands via the Dutch East India Company, mainly in the 18th century.
