Jiayi Yan

Jiayi is a student assistant at NIAS, where she supports the selection process of future fellows. She helps coordinating with reviewers to evaluate applications – ensure a smooth assessment process.

Jiayi is studying at the UvA as a Research Master student in Communication Studies. She is now exploring various research topics in the social sciences to pave her way as an academic. She finds it refreshing to be open to interdisciplinary work while staying true to her passion in academia. She finds it a pleasure to be part of NIAS, as always.
